San Diego, CA - Pathway Baseball has officially unveiled the six team rosters for the 2026 Pathway Prospect Games, set for August 5 to 9, 2026 at Fowler Park on the campus of the University of San Diego.
A total of 132 players who previously competed in Pathway Baseball events have been selected and placed onto six teams, creating a highly competitive field that will take the field in San Diego this August. The six teams Black, Columbia, Grey, Navy, Red, and Royal feature top uncommitted prospects from across the Mountain West region and beyond, representing the graduating classes of 2027 through 2029.
Now entering a new long term chapter in San Diego, the Prospect Games continue to grow as one of the premier summer showcase events for unsigned high school prospects.
”The move to the University of San Diego gives this event a great home for the next five years and creates an incredible setting for these players to compete while giving them a real opportunity to be seen by college coaches and prove themselves,” said Gino Grasso, Director of Pathway Baseball.
The event’s setting at Fowler Park elevates that opportunity even further. Widely regarded as one of the premier venues in college baseball, the USD facility offers a professional level playing surface, excellent sightlines for scouts, and a big stage environment that mirrors the collegiate experience.
This year’s rosters also feature experienced and returning impact players from the 2025 event.
“This year’s group brings back experience with 18 returning selections, including last year’s event MVP Liam Delgado from Colorado, which raises the level of competition across the board from day one,” Grasso added.
Beyond the competition itself, the event’s track record continues to highlight the opportunity it provides.
“Over the last two years, more than 120 colleges have attended the event and more than 130 players who participated have gone on to sign to play college baseball. That shows the level of exposure and opportunity players coming to San Diego this summer will experience firsthand,” Grasso said.
Players will begin the event with a college style workout on day one alongside their teammates and under the direction of the college coaches assigned to each team. The format is designed to simulate a true college environment before moving into several days of competitive games.
Throughout the week, players will participate in structured evaluations and live games that allow coaches to evaluate tools, baseball IQ, versatility, and competitiveness in real game situations.
With six college coach led teams, a premier venue, and rosters loaded with both established prospects and emerging talent, the 2026 Pathway Prospect Games once again position San Diego as a major recruiting destination for players across the Mountain West region.
