pathway Prospect Games

The Prospect Games enter their 3rd year in beautiful San Diego, hosted at the amazing Fowler Park at the University of San Diego, August 5-9, 2026. This exclusive, invite-only showcase will feature 132 of the nation’s top uncommitted players, selected from our summer and fall Pathway events, which see participation from more than 350 teams nationwide.
While players represent programs from across the country, the majority hail from the West Coast, Mountain Region, Southwest, Midwest, and Pacific Northwest — regions where the Prospect Games have become a premier recruiting destination.

How It Works

Players are identified through Pathway events in Albuquerque, Utah, Omaha, Las Vegas, Colorado, and Arizona. The selection process is highly competitive, with nominations coming from college coaches, Pathway staff, and trusted club coach referrals. Each nominated player undergoes a thorough evaluation to ensure they are the right fit for this prestigious event.

A Unique Opportunity

Prospect Games provides an unmatched platform for players to showcase their skills in front of college coaches from every level of competition. In just the last two years, more than 120 college coaches have attended this event, making it one of the most highly scouted showcases in the country. Nearly 50 colleges attended in 2025 alone, and we anticipate even greater participation this year, further solidifying the Prospect Games as one of the premier showcase events in America.

Focused on the Right Fit

Our mission is to connect the right players with the right schools. With 95% of participants likely to pursue opportunities outside Division I, the Prospect Games attract a broad mix of programs from DI, DII, DIII, NAIA, and JUCO. This ensures players gain meaningful exposure and recruitment opportunities across the collegiate landscape.

College-Style Experience

The Prospect Games are designed to mirror the college baseball environment. Players participate in a full workout day run by college coaching staffs, offering a firsthand look at how different programs are managed. Just like in college, players will connect with new teammates from across the country and adapt quickly to new roles and expectations.

Guaranteed Playing Time

Players are guaranteed playing time at their primary positions. While secondary opportunities may arise, these are not guaranteed. College coaches also have the discretion to move players to alternate positions if they believe it better suits the athlete’s future at the collegiate level.

Pitching Opportunities

  • Pitcher Only (PO) players are guaranteed 5–6 innings during the event.
  • Two-way/secondary pitchers will be utilized in relief roles, gaining experience in diverse game situations.

Prospect Games
continue to raise the standard for showcase baseball — bringing together elite uncommitted talent, unmatched exposure, and a true college-level experience.
