Launched in 2020 with 40 teams, Pathway Utah has quickly grown into our largest event and one of the premier tournaments in the entire Mountain West. Today, the event features 100+ teams each year from 14 different states, making it one of the most competitive and well-attended showcases in the region.
In 2025, the event expanded with the addition of a 15u division in Ogden, Utah, while the 16u and 18u divisions continue to compete across Utah County, Salt Lake County, and Utah Valley. Venues include BYU, Salt Lake CC, and top high school fields with incredible views of the Wasatch Mountains — creating a one-of-a-kind setting for players, coaches, and families.
Pathway Utah is more than just baseball; it’s a destination event with plenty to experience beyond the fields. On the field, players take part in a full college workout night at BYU, and the event annually draws 30+ college coaches actively recruiting. The competition is consistently top-level, featuring some of the strongest clubs from across the region.
This event is also a major selection ground for the Pathway Prospect Games in San Diego, with many of our top players earning their invitation directly from their performance in Utah.

Pathway Utah's 16u and 18u divisions will play their games across Utah County and Utah Valley, offering an excellent spread of top-tier facilities. Our northernmost hub is based in West Jordan, with fields at West Jordan High School, Alta High School, Juan Diego High School, Jordan High School, Copper Hills High School, Herriman High School, Riverton High School, Corner Canyon High School, and Salt Lake Community College. These fields are conveniently located within 3-10 miles of each other, making it easy for teams to move between venues. We recommend teams playing in the north hub stay at hotels in Draper or Sandy, Utah, which provide easy access to all fields.
The southern hub extends down to Provo, with fields at BYU, Provo High School, Skyridge High School, Lehi High School, Westlake High School, Pleasant Grove High School, Timpanogos High School, and Orem High School. From the northernmost field in West Jordan to the southern fields in Provo, the distance is only 28 miles, making travel efficient. Draper serves as a great central location, offering convenient access with no more than a 15-mile distance to both our northernmost field (West Jordan) and southernmost fields (Provo HS and BYU).
Our 15u division will be held in Ogden, Utah, using Lindquist Stadium, Miles Goodyear Park, and up to 9 additional high school fields, depending on the size of the event. Specific hotels in Ogden will be recommended for 15u teams to ensure proximity to all venues.
The Pathway Prospect Games are scheduled to take place from August 5 to August 9, 2027, at Tony Gwynn Stadium, the home stadium of the San Diego State Aztecs. Pathway scouts, college coaches, and club coaches nominate top unsigned players from their eight-event series to select 120 players and form six 20-man squads. These squads will participate in a five-day showcase, providing unsigned athletes from the graduating classes of 2027-30 a platform to display their skills in front of college coaches. The event attracts attention from coaches across all levels, including DI, DII, DIII, NAIA, and JUCO, creating opportunities for these promising athletes to play at the next level.
Nominations from Pathway events: Pathway will gather nominations from their events to select 120-160 of the top unsigned players.
Recommendations from coaches: College and club coaches who have been closely monitoring players' progress will provide direct referrals, potentially leading to selections for the Prospect Games.
College coaches will be in attendance for pool play, check back here as for the full list and bios.
