Ogden, UT- After a competitive round of pool play featuring 20 teams from across the West and Mountain West, the field is now set for bracket play in the 15U Gold and Platinum Championships. With seeding locked in and matchups drawn, Friday marks the start of the final push.
Platinum Championship Preview
Kalispell Sluggers 15u enter as the No. 1 overall seed after going 3–0 with a +21 run differential. Their offense has been consistent, and they'll look to keep that momentum going against Coal Creek Hustle, who've battled their way in with steady production at the plate.
Other top teams in the bracket include NC Valley 15U–California (3–0), LK Baseball (2–1), and GBG Utah 2028 Navy (2–1), each bringing balance, depth, and a shot to win it all.
BlueChip-15u and Marucci Recruits both enter at 2–1 and are capable of knocking off anyone in their path. With college coaches in the stands and tight matchups across the board, this bracket should deliver from the first pitch.
"These guys came ready to play and have gone toe-to-toe with some of the best teams on this side of the country," said Pathway Baseball event director Gino Grasso. "Get your popcorn ready, this is going to be shootout here in Utah with bracket play on the horizon."
Gold Championship Outlook
The Gold side features several clubs with something to prove. Horns 15u earned the No. 11 seed after a solid 2–1 showing and will open bracket play against Slammers Kennebrew 2028's.
CBA Summit, South Valley Elite, and a handful of Trosky Utah squads round out a bracket full of talent that's looking to finish strong. Knights – Gold and NC Valley – Ayala meet in what could be one of the most even matchups of the first round.
What's Ahead
The format is simple from here: win and move on. With teams evenly matched and rosters full of uncommitted talent, these next two days are a real opportunity — not just to chase a title, but to compete in a setting that mirrors what's expected at the next level.
